Paper Based IELTS tests are conducted at three locations- Mississauga, Milton and Guelph.
Computer Based IELTS test is conducted at one location- Mississauga.
Following is the break-up of the IELTS Test:
Listening: 30 minutes (plus 10 minutes to transfer answers)
Reading: 60 minutes (including the time to transfer the answers)
Writing: 60 minutes
Speaking: 11–14 minutes
The total duration of the test is: 2 hours and 45 minutes.
Listening, Reading and Writing are completed in one sitting. The Speaking test may be taken on the same day or up to seven days before or after the other IELTS exam modules.
All IELTS test takers take the same Listening and Speaking tests, while the Reading and Writing modules of the test differ depending on whether the test taker is taking the Academic IELTS or the General Training version of the test.
